Our Manufacturing Process

Below is Sign & Awning Systems’ for designing, manufacturing, and installing custom signs and awnings for businesses. The process can vary depending on the type of sign or awning and materials used, but generally includes the following steps:

  1. Consultation: The first step in the sign fabrication process is to consult with Sign & Awning Systems. During this process, you will provide information about your business, such as the products or services you offer, your logo, and where the sign will be located.

  2. Zoning: We’ll work with your town to determine local ordinances for your signage allowance.

  3. Design: Once the consultation is complete, the sign company will begin designing your custom sign. This may include creating concepts and mock-ups, choosing colors and materials, and integrating your logo into the design.

  4. Approval: The design is approved. SAS requires a 50% deposit before starting most large sign jobs.

  5. Permits: We get the proper permits before we start building your sign.

  6. Manufacturing: After the design is finalized, a deposit is payed and the permits are approved, then we’ll begin manufacturing your custom sign. This may involve cutting, bending, welding, and painting materials to create the final product.

  7. Installation: Once the sign is manufactured, we’ll get it installed at your business location. This may involve securing the sign to a pole or building, and connecting any electrical components.
